Comparative Law and Antiquity, Issuses of Private Law Liability, Development of Representation in Contracts, European History of Private Law, Commercial Law Institutions in Roman Law.
The department offers a number of special seminars apart from the area of classical Roman Law, regarding the continuing impact of Roman law on the law of different countries up to the present day (these seminars are held in the language of the given country, e. g. in German, English, Italian, French and Spanish). Other topics are also available, such as Ecclesiastical Law or Jewish Law.
