William R. Andersen
Professor Andersen joined the faculty in 1964, serving as Associate Dean between 1964-69. He was Associate General Counsel to the then Federal Aviation Agency from 1960-63. He previously taught at Vanderbilt and has been a visiting scholar at Columbia University Law School and at the University of Copenhagen and a visiting professor at the University of Michigan. His principal teaching and research interests are in administrative law, antitrust, and constitutional law. He was one of the drafters of the 1988 Washington Administrative Procedure Act. Andersen is the co-author of a casebook in antitrust law and has authored computer-assisted tutorials in Administrative and Constitutional Law. He was Official Reporter for the Commission on Judicial Selection of the State Supreme Court.
