Helen Anderson
Professor Anderson joined the law school faculty in 1994 to teach Basic Legal Skills. Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Anderson practiced as an appellate criminal defense attorney for eight years, after clerking for Judge Walter Webster of the Washington State Court of Appeals. She became assistant director of the Washington Appellate Defender Association, which represented indigent parties in the state appellate courts. She is an author of the Washington State Bar, and past chair of the Washington State Bar Association Corrections Committee.
